2016 Big Ten All-Freshman Team … played in all 1,780 minutes in goal for the Buckeyes … 5-13-1 record with .680 save percentage and three shutouts … made first collegiate start v. Virginia Tech (Aug. 26) … named B1G Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 13) after recording his first collegiate shutout in 39 home win over Northwestern (Sept. 9) … made six saves vs. No. 13 UCSC (Aug. 28) … had six stops vs. Valparaiso (Sept. 21) … made three saves vs. Michigan State (Oct. 2) … had six stops at No. 1 Maryland (Oct. 7) … collected second shutout of the season vs. Oakland (Oct. 11) … finished with five saves in 110 minutes of play against No. 7 Indiana (Oct. 15) … posted a season-high eight saves at No. 4 Louisville (Oct. 18) … picked up his third shutout of the year in a double OT win at Michigan (Oct. 21) … made a penalty kick save against Akron (Oct. 26) … had four saves in regular season finale at No. 24 Wisconsin (Oct. 30) … collected four saves in B1G quarterfinals at Wisconsin (Nov. 6) ... Played with the Columbus Crew Academy teams since he was 14 … has also been with the U14, U15 and U18 U.S. National Teams …  CollegeSoccerNews.com ranked him as the 35th overall recruit in the country for the Class of 2015 …  ranked 46th overall for 2015 by TopDrawerSoccer.com … LCL first team … played for Academy after freshman season with the Blue Aces.

Son of Patti and Ken Siegfried … has one brother, Peter …  would like to pursue a professional soccer career after graduation … enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing and spending time with friends and family … greatest sports thrill was kicking the gamewinning field goal for my freshman football team against Buckeye Valley.
