At a glance: Smart player with good sense of the game ... Adjusted to the speed and pace of the college game after taking a redshirt in 2010 and has worked his way into being an important member of the Buckeye midfield.
As a sophomore (2012): Started four times in 16 appearances... Scored a goal in the first match of the season at Dayton (Aug. 24)... Tallied second goal vs. Bowling Green (Oct. 10)... Took 14 shots, putting seven on goal... Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete recipient.
As a redshirt freshman (2011): Played in 13 games in the midfield ... Took 11 shots, including five on goal ... Earned the team's Most Improved Player award at the season ending banquet - sharing the honor with teammate Sebastian Rivas ... Also an Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete recipient.
As a freshman (2010): Redshirted season to gain experience.
American Heritage: Led his high school team to the state championship and a fifth-place national ranking as a junior in 2008.
Miami FC Kendall: Played three years for the Florida ODP team ... Has played with the U16 and U18 Miami FC Kendall academy program teams.
Personal: Son of Marc and Olgui Lowell ... Siblings include Brent and Lili ... Hopes to play professional soccer after graduation followed by a career in international law ... Enjoys snowboarding ... Member of the National Honor Society at American Heritage.
