COLUMBUS, Ohio -Keenan Ochwat, a senior defenseman on the Ohio State men's lacrosse team, has been chosen to participate in the USILA/LaxWorld Division I-II North/South Game, set for 5:30 p.m. Friday at Harvard Stadium in Boston. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the gate; the day also includes a Division III North/South Game that begins at 3 p.m. Ochwat will compete for the Division I-II South Team.

Ochwat was a second team All-ECAC selection as a senior in 2012 after leading Ohio State with 28 caused turnovers, ranking 13th in the NCAA and second in the conference with 1.87 per game. He was third on the squad with 34 groundballs. Ochwat was a leader on the Ohio State defense that is fourth nationally and first in the ECAC, holding opponents to 7.20 goals per game and is 11th in the NCAA in man-down defense (.744).

A Farmingdale, N.Y., native, Ochwat saw action in 61 games for Ohio State, starting 29 of the 30 he played over the last two seasons. He had 125 groundballs and 73 caused turnovers as a Buckeye.

Ochwat will be the 30th Buckeye to participate in the North-South Game and the first since Kevin Buchanan and Ricky Pages in 2008.
