Determination, dedication, sacrifice. These qualities help NCAA student-athletes do incredible things on the fields, courts, pools, and courses. And it’s these same values that drive them to achieve great things beyond the game. That's the idea behind the Buick Human Highlight Reel. We're celebrating former NCAA student-athletes who are doers, leaders, and game changers in their communities. These stories inspire us all. They push us to be better. They show us humanity at its finest. And that’s why Buick is proud to shine a light on these amazing people.
It started with a simple idea: find stories that inspire us and share them with the world. From a former star player making a difference for 3 million kids around the world or a swimmer who turns his NCAA success into a chance to change lives—every cause, every person, and every contribution is a testament to the power of human achievement. By offering our support to further these causes and ideas, Buick and the NCAA are celebrating the next generation of achievers.
Greg Bice, 2004 Ohio State graduate, achieved a variety of accolades during his time on the field for the Buckeyes men’s lacrosse team, but his greatest achievement these days can be seen through the eyes of children in need. He took the lessons learned through his sport and translated them into a greater cause with Lacrosse the Nations (http://www.lacrossethenations.org), whose goal is to empower children in need through education, power, hope, and lacrosse.
