COLUMBUS, Ohio - The ECAC Lacrosse League matchup between No. 12/13 Ohio State and Hobart April 6 will be televised live by BTN, while the April 27 conference game vs. Fairfield will stream live on the Big Ten Digital Network (BTN.com) with potential to be replayed on BTN television at a date to be announced.
The April 6 game vs. the Hobart Statesmen is set for a noon faceoff in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Former Buckeye All-American and Major League Lacrosse All-Star Greg Bice will call the action, joined by Dan Kelly. The game vs. the Fairfield Stags has a 1 p.m. start. The BTN.com broadcast will be available to subscribers of the Buckeye Vision package on OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
Ohio State, 6-2 on the year and 1-1 in conference play, is closing its regular season with six-consecutive ECAC Lacrosse League games. The team is hosting back-to-back games in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, starting with a contest vs. defending NCAA and ECAC champion Loyola at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The game vs. the Greyhounds will be streamed through Buckeye Vision on OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
The Buckeye squad will then host Hobart April 6 before two-consecutive road games at Michigan (April 13) and Air Force (April 20). The game vs. the Fairfield Stags April 27 closes the regular season and marks Senior Day for the 2013 senior class. The Top 4 teams in the final regular-season standings will earn a spot in the ECAC Tournament, hosted by Hobart in Geneva, N.Y., May 3-5.
