COLUMBUS, Ohio - Logan Schuss, a senior attackman and captain for the Ohio State men's lacrosse team, has been named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced. Schuss had 13 points in the Buckeyes' first two games combined as the squad opened its year with wins vs. Detroit and Jacksonville.

A native of Ladner, British Columbia, Schuss had a career-high 10 points vs. Detroit Feb. 9, tying his career best with seven goals and picking up two groundballs. Six of his points - four goals and two assists - came in the second half vs. the Titans as the Buckeyes took control of the game. In Ohio State's win at Jacksonville Sunday in the Moe's Southwest Grill Classic, Schuss scored twice and added an assist, along with picking up two groundballs. He is first in the ECAC with 6.5 points per game and 4.5 goals an outing.

Schuss, who led the Buckeyes in scoring each of his first three seasons, is third in Ohio State history with 111 goals and 178 points, ranking third among current NCAA Division I players in career points. He has multiple points in each of his last 23 games.

Schuss and the No. 17/19 Buckeyes return to Columbus to host Marquette at 1 p.m. Saturday inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
