COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 18/19-ranked Ohio State men’s lacrosse team will close out its preseason schedule Saturday with scrimmages against No. 12/13 Syracuse and Robert Morris inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The Buckeyes and Orange begin the day with a matchup at 11:30 a.m., followed by a scrimmage between Syracuse and the Colonials at 1:30 p.m. The Buckeyes and Robert Morris wrap up the tripleheader with a scrimmage at 3:30 p.m.

The tripleheader is SOLD OUT. However, tickets may become available later in the day Saturday as fans leave. Space is not guaranteed, but fans are welcome to stop WHAC by and check on ticket availability later Saturday afternoon.

Regular Season A Week Away
Ohio State opens the regular season next Saturday, Feb. 9, when it takes on Detroit inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center at 1 p.m. The game is the first of six regular-season contests for the squad in Columbus, with two in February, March and April.

Individual tickets to all Ohio State men’s lacrosse home games are $5 for adults and $3 for youth. Tickets for groups of 10 or more are $2 each. Contact the Group Ticket Sales staff at 614-292-0043. (Note service charges may apply.)

Tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster HERE, by calling Ticketmaster (800-745-3000), in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or in person at the Ohio State Ticket Office in the southeast corner of the Schottenstein Center.

Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets for the team’s games vs. Detroit (Feb. 9) and Marquette (Feb. 23), scheduled to be played inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Space is limited, and games are expected to sell out prior to game day.

Tickets will be on sale at the Buckeyes’ games vs. Syracuse and Robert Morris Saturday.

In the Polls
The preseason Top 20 polls were released Monday, with Ohio State slotted in both. The squad is No. 19 in the USILA Coaches Poll and No. 19 in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.

Six opponents on Ohio State’s regular-season slate are also ranked (IL/USILA): Loyola (1/1), Notre Dame (3/3), Denver (8/9), Virginia (9/7), Penn State (15/14) and Fairfield (16/16). Ohio State’s preseason slate included ranked teams in Johns Hopkins (5/t-4) and Syracuse (12/13) in the spring and Lehigh (10/11) in the fall.
