2012 Ohio State LiFE Sports Spring Game and Showdown in the Shoe Tickets on Sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Tickets for the double header in Ohio Stadium April 21 - when the Ohio State men's lacrosse team hosts the Showdown in the Shoe and the Ohio State football team plays the 2012 Ohio State LiFE Sports Spring Game - will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The day begins with the Buckeye lacrosse team hosting Air Force at 11 a.m. in an ECAC Lacrosse League game, with the football team's game slated for a 1:30 p.m. start.
This will be the fifth edition of the Showdown in the Shoe for the Buckeye men's lacrosse team and the second time Air Force will participate in the game. The game has set NCAA regular-season and on-campus attendance records, reaching 31,078 at the 2010 event.
General admission tickets, which include both the lacrosse and football games, are $7 each in advance. Tickets will be $15 on game day (cash only). As in the past, Ohio State students (with BuckID) and children 6 and under will be admitted free of charge in all general admission sections.
Tickets will be available online through OhioStateBuckeyes.com, charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center, or at any Ticketmaster location. Service charges may apply depending on the location of purchase.
In addition, group tickets are available at $5 each for groups of 50 or more and must be purchased in advance through the group sales department at 614-292-0043.
The Buckeyes host Bucknell in a scrimmage at 2 p.m. Saturday inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center; admission is free to the game The regular season starts for Ohio State next week, as it hosts Detroit at 7 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 9) and then travels for a game at Mercer Feb. 11.
Ohio State men's lacrosse single-game tickets for the first seven home games are now on sale. Tickets for the first three games - vs. Detroit Feb. 9, vs. UMass Feb. 25 and vs. Penn State March 3 - are limited. Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets as sellouts are expected. The games vs. the Minutemen and Nittany Lions will be moved outside to Ohio Stadium if weather conditions permit; however, that determination will not be made until close to gameday.
