Ohio State Career: Academic All-Big Ten selection and an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete ... received team's Community Service Award as a sophomore ... 2011 and `12 Buckeye Power Club selection.
2012 (Junior season): Saw action in four games ... groundball at Mercer Feb. 11 ... took one faceoff vs. Air Force April 21 ... also played vs. Bellarmine March 24 and at Fairfield April 28 ... Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten choice ... named to the Buckeye Power Club.
2011 (Sophomore season): Played in seven games ... had one shot and one groundball at Albany March 12 ... won two fourth-quarter faceoffs at Albany March 12 and was 2-for-4 at Virginia March 19 ... named an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten ... also named to the Buckeye Power Club and was team's Community Service Award winner.
2010 (Freshman season): Played vs. Detroit Feb. 27 for first collegiate action ... also saw playing time at North Carolina May 8 ... groundball vs. the Titans.
Upper Arlington High School: The Golden Bears won the state championship his junior year and played for the state title in 2009 ... second team All-Midwest, second team all-state and first team all-region as a senior ... garnered all-state and first team all-district accolades in football in 2008 ... leading tackler on the football team as both a junior and senior, serving as captain his last year ... received high school sportsmanship award and was a volunteer at Holy Family Soup Kitchen and with the Special Olympics.
