Ohio State had a league-high 166 placed on the Academic All-Big Ten team for spring and at-large sports, the Big Ten Conference announced Thursday. In all, 1,447 spring and at-large sports student-athletes from around the conference were recognized.

Senior Jesse King, junior Robby Haus and redshirt sophomore Tom Carey of the Ohio State men's lacrosse team have been named USILA All-Americans, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced Thursday. In the NCAA Championship quarterfinals, the Ohio State men's lacrosse team lost to No. 4-seed Denver, 15-13, Saturday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo. The loss ends the No. 12-ranked Buckeyes' season, with the squad 12-7 on the year.
