COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Janik Möser, a freshman defenseman on the Ohio State men's hockey team, has been invited to Germany's camp for the 2015 IIHF World Junior (U-20) Championship. The final roster of 23 players will be selected from the 27 camp invitees, which opens Wednesday in Kingston, Ontario. The WJC is slated for Dec. 26-Jan. 5 and will be held in Toronto and Montreal.
Möser, a native of Mannheim, Germany, skated for his country in the 2014 WJC in Sweden. He played in all seven games for Germany in the tournament, scoring a goal and adding two assists, and was named Germany's player of the game against Canada. He represented Germany in the 2012 and 2013 World Under-18 Championships as well.
Moser has played in 13 games for the Buckeyes this year and has an assist, along with seven blocked shots.
