Alex Lippincott, a senior on the men's hockey team and native of Akron, Ohio, has played in 95 games for the Scarlet and Gray in his career, scoring 10 goals and adding 12 assists for 22 points. Lippincott was named the CCHA Player of the Week in November 2011 after recording four points in a Buckeye victory at Michigan. A communication major, he is a three-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and two-time Academic All-Big Ten choice. His father, Chip, was a member of the Ohio State men's hockey program in 1983-84 and is an Ohio State graduate.
Do you prefer the Oval in the Fall or Spring? Spring
Where is the best place to sit for lectures? It depends on the size of the lecture, but probably somewhere in the middle.
Most underrated place to study on campus? Derby Hall, second floor
Why did you choose to major in communication - new media and technology? I find the things we study interesting and I am always looking to become a better communicator.
Who do you wish had a Twitter account? Why would you want to "follow" this account? Anyone famous from history really - it would be interesting to see what they had to say at the time they were around.
Favorite TV show - Breaking Bad
Favorite movie - Changes all the time. Currently, The Conjuring. It was pretty scary.

Pre-game rituals - I always put on and tie my left skate before my right.
What is your top skill? What skill do you need to improve? My top skill is my speed and I need to improve my grittiness and toughness
Dream event (non-sport or sport-related) you would like to attend - Stanley Cup Final, Game 7
Most interesting place I've visited - Slovakia
Place I would like to visit - Hawaii
Favorite home cooked meal - Pretty much anything on the grill
Favorite snack food - Cereal and milk
Person I most admire - My dad, Chip
In 10 years, I would like to be - Married, possibly with children. If hockey is not in the picture then I would like to have a steady job, possibly working for my dad.
If I had a million dollars, I would - Save it
Coolest thing you did this past summer - Took a trip to New York City with a few friends
If you had dinner with three people, who would they be and what would you eat? Larry David, Rory McIlroy and Wayne Gretzky. We would eat at my house I guess. I could cook them dinner with my great cooking skills.
If your parents/guardians bragged about you, what would they say? They would say I am a charming young man...I hope.
