COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Earlier this week, the Ohio State hockey program held the inaugural Buckeye Hockey Pro Camp in Value City Arena. The four-day camp, attended by Buckeye alums and others who are heading into pro hockey training camps, was conducted by the Ohio State coaching staff. The players were led through drills and scrimmages throughout the time on ice, with many also taking advantage of the new weight room in the facility to work out as well.
Camp attendees included Ohio State alums Mathieu Beaudoin, Dave Steckel, RJ Umberger, CJ Severyn, Chris Crane, Brandon Martell, Nate Guenin, Devon Krogh, Dusty Carlson and Patrick Schafer, members of the Columbus Blue Jackets and others.
Following the conclusion of camp Thursday, OhioStateBuckeyes.com caught up with Umberger (2001-03) and Beaudoin (2004-07).
