This award is given annually to one or more student athlete(s) from each team. Athlete(s) chosen must exemplify specific qualities in the weight room - leadership ability, work ethic, winning attitude, attendance and above average ability to follow instructions. Each athlete chosen is eligible for National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-America honors the following year.
Jobst, a forward from Speedway, Indiana, was a Second Team All-Big Ten selection and Big Ten All-Tournament Team honoree as a junior in 2017-18, helping the squad to a second straight NCAA appearance and the NCAA Frozen Four. He had a team-high 21 goals, adding 22 assists for 43 points. An All-American in 2017, Jobst has 128 career points in 114 games in the Scarlet and Gray.
