In its season opener vs. No. 3/4-ranked Providence in Value City Arena, the Ohio State men's hockey came from a goal down four times to force overtime. Just 28 seconds into the extra session, junior Anthony Greco gave the Buckeyes the win, scoring his third goal - and the Buckeyes' third power play tally - of the game.
