  • Two assists in Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal win over Michigan State March 16
  • Blocked 45 shots, including six at Minnesota Dec. 3 and four vs. Minnesota Duluth in the NCAA Tournament March 24 and vs. Arizona State Jan. 13; had three blocks in four other games 
  • Scored just nine seconds into game at Miami Dec. 31
  • Goal and +2 mark at Minnesota Dec. 3 
  • Assist vs. Michigan State March 4 and had five shot blocks in road series vs. the Spartans Feb. 17-18

2015-16 (Freshman Season)

  • Skated in 33 of 36 games, including last 26
  • 10 points, with two goals and eight assists 
  • Point in eight of the last 12 games 
  • Six-game point streak Feb. 20-March 11 (1g, 7a, 8p) 
  • Three assists in series with Michigan March 4/6; two assists, +2 and three shot blocks in game one and a helper in game two 
  • Three points in series vs. Wisconsin Feb. 26-27; two assists in game one and a helper in game two, with +2 mark in each game
  • First career goal came Feb. 20 at Penn State, with +3 rating 
  • Scored in Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal game vs. Michigan State March 17
  • Assist Feb. 12 vs. Minnesota for first career point

Prior to Ohio State

  • Played in 52 regular season games, along with four postseason games, with the Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL, posting 13 points on three goals and 10 assists, along with a +12 mark, in 2014-15; served as an assistant captain as squad won the Anderson Cup and had a USHL-record 17-game winning streak 
  • Saw action in three games with the Phantoms in 2012-13 before joining the team fulltime in 2013-14, skating in 49 games and recording a 5-2-7 line 
  • Played for Cleveland Barons program, including two seasons with U18 program; had 18 points (3g, 15a) in 40 games in 2012-13 and skated in 29 games in 2011-12, with four assists 
  • Graduated from Saint Ignatius High School in 2013 
  • Also played basketball

Off the Ice:

  • Son of Theodore, a physician/professor and Laura, an MBA/nurse; has a sister, Krista, and a brother, Theodore

  • Enjoys fly fishing

  • Started skating around age 3, following his older siblings into the game
  • Favorite player is Ryan McDonagh, says “He is a class act on and off the ice. He is an unbelievable defenseman and leader and I would like to emulate some of the things he has accomplished in his career.” 
  • Built a coop in his backyard during high school and raises chickens
