Brian Seitz, a Buckeye alumnus, joined the Ohio State men's hockey program beginning in the 2015-16 campaign. Seitz earned his degree in human nutrition from Ohio State in 2011 and has his master's degree in exercise science from Louisiana at Monroe.
Seitz, a Springfield, Ohio, native, came to Ohio State after serving as the director of strength and conditioning at Ohio University, where he was responsible for men's and women's basketball and was the lead assistant with football. Prior to joining the Bobcat staff, Seitz was the assistant director of strength and conditioning at Louisiana at Monroe after joining the school as a graduate assistant strength coach. Seitz has also worked as the football strength and conditioning intern at South Carolina and completed an internship at High Point.
Seitz is Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through the United States Weightlifting Association (USAW).
