COLUMBUS, Ohio - Brandon Wynn, a former member of the Ohio State men's gymnastics team, took one step closer to the 2012 Olympics Saturday after earning a spot on the U.S. Senior Men's National Team at the 2012 Visa Championships Saturday in St. Louis, Mo. With his performance at the national championships, the native of Voorhees, N.J., claimed an invitation to the U.S. Olympic Trials June 28-July 1 in San Jose, Calif.

Wynn is one of 15 national team members who will look to make the Olympic squad later this month. A full list of the 2012-13 U.S. Senior Men's National Team can be found below.

In the all-around competition, Wynn claimed 14th place with his 86.650 in the finals for a two-day total of 172.850. The 2011 Nissen Emery Award Finalist finished second overall on rings with a 30.800, including a meet-high 15.450 in the finals, eighth on parallel bars (29.950), 13th on high bar (28.100) and tied for 17th on floor exercise (29.450).

Also participating for the Scarlet and Gray was rising junior Kris Done who gained valuable championship experience, competing on four events at the elite competition. Done claimed a 15.3 on vault and a 14.75 on parallel bars in the finals.
