COLUMBUS, Ohio- The No. 7 Ohio State men's gymnastics team has been selected to advance to the 2012 NCAA Men's Gymnastics National Qualifier, the NCAA Men's Gymnastics committee announced Tuesday. The national qualifier, which consists of two pre-qualifying sessions, will be conducted April 19 at Lloyd Noble Center on the campus of the University of Oklahoma.
The national qualifier is comprised of 12 teams with the field split into two qualifying sessions. Ohio State as the seventh seed will compete in the first qualifying session at 2 p.m. CT April 19 along with No. 2 Penn State, No. 3 Stanford, No. 6 Michigan, No. 10 Nebraska and No. 11 Iowa. The second qualifying session begins at 7 p.m. CT consists of No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Illinois, No. 5 Minnesota, No. 8 California, No. 9 Temple and No. 12 Air Force.
Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance from each pre-qualifying session to the finals session. Final competitions will take place April 20-21, also at Oklahoma.

All session tickets to the NCAA Championships ($25 Adult and $15 Youth) are on sale now and can be purchased at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456 - GoOU.
Single-session tickets will go on sale the first day of competition at the Lloyd Noble Center at least an hour prior to competition beginning. All tickets are general admission.
