Columbus, Ohio - For the third time this season, the No. 6 Ohio State men's gymnastics team will hit the road as they are set to take on No. 7 Michigan on Saturday afternoon at Cliff Keen Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich. The meet is scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET start.
Ohio State enters the meet with the sixth-best scoring average in the nation (404.450). Michigan, who has only competed once thus far in 2018, has the seventh-best score in the nation with a 403.650.
In the team scoring category, Ohio State's season-best score of 70.450 on the still rings at the season-opening Rocky Mountain is the No. 1 team tally for a single meet this season. The team score of 68.600 on the pommel horse recorded at the Nebraska meet on Jan. 20 is the second-best in the nation this year.
The Buckeyes and the Wolverines have faced off 205 times dating back to the series opener in 1931 in which the Buckeyes prevailed by a score of 931.0-874.0. The Buckeyes have won the last two dual meets against the Wolverines and hold a 108-97 advantage all time.
