Prior to Ohio State: Member of Temple University Boy's Gymnastics (2007-08), OSU Boy's Gymnastics (2006-07) and Buckeye Gymnastics (2004-06) ... Ohio State runner-up on rings (2007) ... Ohio State champion on floor exercise (2005) ... three-time Junior Olympic National Championship qualifier (2005-07) ... five time Region 7 qualifier and eight-time Region 5 qualifier ... started gymnastics at age four ... also played ice hockey and roller hockey ... two-year letterwinner in ice hockey with the Olentangy Braves ... scored most goals and points for the Braves (2005-06), earning the Calder Trophy for rookie of the year award.
