2013-14 (Sophomore Season): Two-event All-American for the Buckeyes; earned runner-up honors on vault and fifth place in the all-around at the NCAA championships ... claimed a Big Ten championship on vault; also competed in the all-around (third), high bar (third) and floor exercise (eighth) ... claimed three event titles (all-around, vault and high bar) in Ohio State's tri-meet victory over No. 1 Oklahoma and Temple; scored a career-best 89.450 in the all-around competition and a career-best 15.500 on vault, while placing second on both floor exercise (career-high 15.300) and pommel horse ... placed eighth in the all-around at the Winter Cup Challenge, finishing in the Top 10 on high bar (fifth), parallel bars (eighth) and floor exercise (ninth) ... named CGA and Big Ten Gymnast of the Week with two-event titles and five Top 5 finishes in a dual-meet win over No. 8 California; posted a personal-best score of 15.800 to win the high bar, an 89.000 to capture the all-around title, and scored a career-best 15.150 to finish second on rings ... earned Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors with two-event titles at No. 2 Michigan; posted a career-high 15.600 to win the pommel horse, a 15.300 to tie on vault, and also placed second on high bar ... CGA All-America Scholar Athlete ... Academic All-Big Ten selection ... Ohio State Scholar Athlete.
2012-13 (Freshman Season): Competed in four meets for the Buckeyes before suffering season-ending injury ... placed first on high bar and second on pommel horse at the Windy City Invitational (Jan. 19) with a 15.25 and 15.15, respectively ... scored a team-best 14.90 on rings and a team-best 14.75 on parallel bars at the Metroplex Challenge Jan. 25 ... placed second on vault (15.05) and first on high bar with a program record score of 15.50 at Penn State Feb. 2 ... also scored an 88.00 to place second in the all-around ... earned a fourth-place finish on pommel horse with a 14.65 and a first-place finish on parallel bars with a 14.85 against UIC March 9 ... earned Ohio State Scholar-Athlete honors.
Prior to Ohio State: Trained and competed at the U.S. Olympic Training Center (2011-12) under coaches Vitaly Marinitch and Andriy Stepanchenko, Orlando Metro Gymnastics (2009-11) under coach Casimiro Suarzez and Viktory Gymnastics (2008-09) ... three-time U.S. Junior National Team member (2009-11) ... placed fourth in the all-around at the 2011 Visa Championships ... also placed third on rings, vault and high bar ... finished second in the all-around at the 2011 Men's Junior Olympic National Championships ... also placed second on high bar and third on vault ... placed eighth on high bar at the 2011 Winter Cup Challenge ... competed at the 2010 Visa Championships finishing tied for first on high bar, second on pommel horse, third in the all-around and fourth on vault ... finished first in the all-around at the 2010 Men's Junior Olympic National Championships ... also placed first on high bar and tied for third on pommel horse and rings ... competed at the 2009 Visa Championships, tying for second on vault, placing second on high bar, placing third in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise ... placed second with the team and fifth on pommel horse at the 2009 Junior Pan American Championships.
