2012 (Freshman Season): Competed in every meet of the season for the Buckeyes ... tied for second place on floor exercise (15.30) in his first collegiate meet at the Windy City Invitational (Jan. 14) ... followed that performance with a fifth-place showing on floor (15.000) against Oklahoma Jan. 21 and a fifth-place tie on vault (14.600) ... tied for first on floor with a 14.90 against Michigan and SUNY Brockport (Feb. 18) ... also tied for fourth on vault with a 14.70 ... set a career-high on parallel bars Feb. 25 against Penn State with a 14.250 ... set a career-high 14.800 on vault against Illinois (March 2) ... placed third on floor (15.25) and fifth on vault (14.55) against Stanford March 9 ... set a career-high 15.40 on floor against Minnesota and Oklahoma (March 24), placing second ... qualified for the floor exercise event finals at the Big Ten Championships (April 7), finishing fifth with a 15.10 ... qualified for the event finals at the NCAA Championships (April 21), tying for sixth with a 15.05 to earn first career All-American honors.
