COLUMBUS, Ohio - Justin Wick has been officially added to the 2015-16 Ohio State men's golf roster. He and his older brother Josh Wick, a redshirt sophomore for the Buckeyes, are products of Upper Arlington High School.
Wick was named the Central District Division I Player of the Year as a senior and received the Jack Nicklaus Memorial Tournament Wolfe Associates Junior Golf Award and Scholarship. The two-year team captain earned Academic All-Ohio Division I honors as well.
His athletic prowess shined brightly in the lacrosse arena, too. Wick, tabbed an All-American high school lacrosse player, picked up Lacrosee Player of the Year accolades for the state of Ohio en route to also corralling First Team All-Ohio, All-Midwest and all-conference laurels. He led Upper Arlington High to three state lacrosse championships.
Justin is the son of George and Sarah Wick, the lead dietitian for OSU Sports Nutrition. He was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service silver medal after performing over 185 hours of volunteer service during his senior year of high school.
