Boo Timko Voted All-Big Ten by Conference Coaches

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Boo Timko earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors for the second time on Wednesday (May 7), doing so both as a sophomore in 2013 and now once again in 2014 during his junior campaign.
The Girard, Ohio native is the recipient of a 2014 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award as well. Timko is coming off a sixth place finish at the Big Ten Championships as he and the rest of the Buckeyes are set to compete in the NCAA Columbia Regional May 15-17. He paces Ohio State with a 72.82 average in 33 rounds played, including nine rounds under par.
Timko went 4-0 individually at the Big Ten Match Play Championships and has finished inside the top-20 in over half of his tournaments entered (six of 11). He has also twice notched top-5 showings.
