Men's Golf Team in 18th place after 36 holes in Morris Williams Tournament

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State men's golf team is tied for 18th place after 36 holes at the Morris Williams Tournament, held at the par-72 Morris Williams Golf Course in Austin, Texas. The University of Texas is hosting the event. The Buckeyes shot rounds of 305-304=609 Monday. The event will conclude Tuesday with 18 holes.
Ohio State junior Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) and senior David Vallina (Burgettstown, Pa./Burgettstown) are tied for 47th place after shooting 4-over-par 74-74=148 for Biles and 73-75=148 for Vallina to lead the Buckeyes individually.
Oscar Alvarez from Brigham Young University posted a score of 7-under-par (137) to lead in the individual standings. Oklahoma State leads the 18-team event after shooting 7-under at 566.
