COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State men's golf team continues its spring season in Tallahassee, Fla., for the Seminole Intercollegiate March 15-17. The tournament will take place on the par 72, 7,172-yard Southwood Country Club in Tallahassee.

Eight Buckeyes will be competing in this weekend's tournament. Senior Matt Turner, sophomores Boo Timko and Grant Weaver and freshmen Michael Bernard and Max Rosenthal earned a spot in the Ohio State lineup, while redshirt sophomores Logan Jones and Trey Sullivan and freshman Tee-k Kelly will compete as individuals. Timko, Weaver and Kelly have competed in all seven tournaments so far this season.
A beautiful weekend is in store for the Seminole Intercollegiate. According to Weather.com, Friday and Sunday will see highs of 75, while Saturday will reach 80. All three days have sunny skies in the forecast.
RECAP: PUERTO RICO CLASSIC
The Ohio State men's golf team concluded the Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 17-19) in 13th after finishing the third round with a 2-over 290. The Buckeyes totaled a three-day score of 24-over 888 on the par 72, 6,902-yard River Course at the Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande, P.R.
Freshman Michael Bernard led the Buckeyes on the final day, carding a 2-under 70. The 18-hole total was a career-low for the Huber Heights, Ohio, native. Bernard finished tied for 39th with a 5-over 221.
Classmate Max Rosenthal came in tie for 36th following a round of 76 to total a 4-over 220. Sophomore Boo Timko finished tied for 47th with a 7-over 223, while Grant Weaver concluded the tournament tied for 55th with a 10-over 226. Freshman Tee-k Kelly rounded out the Buckeye lineup with a 21-over 237.
BY THE NUMBERS
Ohio State has competed in seven tournaments and one match play tournament this season, holding a 42-40-1 record versus its 2012-13 opponents. Sophomore Boo Timko currently leads the team in stroke average with a 73.17, while classmate Grant Weaver is close behind with a 73.82 average. Timko and Weaver each have a team-best three finishes in the Top 20, including a fifth-place finish for Timko in September.
The Buckeyes travel to North Carolina for the Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, N.C., Mar. 24-25.
