Buckeyes Finish Third at Wolf Run Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team finished third after recording a final day score of 299 at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate Sunday. The Buckeyes tallied a 54-hole score of 13-over 865 on the par 71, 7, 195-yard Wolf Run Golf Club in Zionsville, Ind.
Illinois carded a 3-over 855 to win the team title, while Indiana’s Brant Peaper finished with an 11-under 202 to take the individual title.
Freshman Tee-K Kelly led the Ohio State, concluding with a 3-under 210 to finish fourth. He opened with a season-low 68 Saturday and followed with scores of 72 and 70 to close out the tournament.
Teammate Boo Timko also had a solid showing for the Buckeyes, coming in fifth with a 2-under 211. Timko shot a 69 and a career-low 66 to kick off the tournament Saturday and finished with a 76 Sunday.
Up next, the Buckeyes travel to Glencoe, Ill., for the Windon Memorial, Sept. 23-24.
