The Ohio State University men's golf program finalized its 2015-16 tournament schedule this week and it consists of 10 regular season events, five during each the Fall and Spring semesters. The OSU Golf Club's Scarlet Course will play host to the 46th edition of the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate April 9-10.

Three members of the 2014-15 Ohio State men’s golf team earned Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar recognition this week. Logan Jones, Boo Timko and Grant Weaver became the first Buckeye trio to do so in the same season since 2011, and just the third in school history.

Will Grimmer, an incoming freshman, joins his future Ohio State teammate Michael Bernard as qualifiers for the 2015 U.S. Amateur Championships. Michael Bernard, a rising redshirt junior, secured his spot in the 2015 U.S. Amateur Championship to be held August 17-23 at the Olympia Field Country Club just outside of Chicago. Bernard carded a two-round total of 140 to earn one of three U.S. Amateur tickets awarded in sectional qualifying at the Dayton Country Club.

Clark Engle and Will Grimmer both advanced to the 16-player match play portion of the 115th North & South Amateur Championship on the esteemed Pinehurst No. 2 course. The Buckeye tandem out-lasted 80 additional competitors who were eliminated after 54 holes of stroke play.
