JJ Wood Brought Aboard as Men's Golf Assistant Coach

Donnie Darr, Ohio State men's golf head coach, has tabbed JJ Wood as an assistant coach for the Buckeye program. Wood made an immediate impact at Rice University in 2014, helping the Owls to the program's first ever Conference USA Championship after joining the staff mid-season in January.

Buckeye Pair Inducted into Ohio Golf Hall of Fame

John Cook and Don Nist were inducted into the Ohio Golf Hall of Fame this week. The former Buckeye student-athletes were a part of the four-member 2014 induction class. Cook lettered at Ohio State from 1977-79 while Nist did so in 1955 and 1956.

Buckeyes Tabbed GCAA All-Academic Team

The Ohio State University men's golf team was recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America this week, earning All-Academic Team honors. Ohio State is one of 50 programs nationally to post a team grade point average of 3.0 or better and receive the GCAA accolade.

Boo Timko Named an All-America Scholar

Rising senior Boo Timko has been recognized as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar for the 2013-14 academic year. He is one of 207 Division-I men's golfers to earn the prestigious accolade. Timko is the 12th different Buckeye to earn All-America Scholar recognition all-time, racking up a total of 19 awards.
