Senior Boo Timko led the final charge on Sunday, registering a 67 as the Ohio State men's golf team ascended up to third place in the Northern Intercollegiate team standings. Individually, Timko's scorching round pushed him into a share of fourth place overall.

Sophomore Addison Coll has earned top-10 standing through two rounds of the season-opening Northern Intercollegiate, carrying a share of ninth place into Sunday's final round. As a team, the Buckeyes are slotted fifth out of 13 teams, just three strokes back from second-place Purdue.

Donnie Darr, Ohio State men's golf head coach, has tabbed JJ Wood as an assistant coach for the Buckeye program. Wood made an immediate impact at Rice University in 2014, helping the Owls to the program's first ever Conference USA Championship after joining the staff mid-season in January.
