Clark Engle's career-low 65 on Day Two of the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational leapfrogged him into the Top-5 and his final-round 70 kept him there. The junior from Springfield, Ohio, tied for fifth place to earn his sixth career Top-5 finish and first of the 2015-16 season.

A pair of Buckeyes dipped into the 60's on Day Two of the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational (NCi), including a career-low 65 (-7) by Clark Engle which pulled him within three strokes of the tournament leaders. Tee-k Kelly had himself a day as well, firing a 4-under 68 to make his own climb up the individual leaderboard.

The Ohio State University men's golf team concluded Day One competition at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational at 8-over (292). Just six eagles were recorded on the day, a pair coming from Buckeyes Josh Wick and Addison Coll.

Fourteen Nike-clad golf teams will battle it out for the 2015 Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational (NCi) title Sunday-Tuesday (Oct. 4-6). Ohio State’s fourth event of the season pits the Buckeyes up against nine Top-25 schools in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.

Buckeye teammates Clark Engle and Josh Wick both notched top-10 showings at the Windon Memorial, each finishing 2-under in the event. Their 54-hole total of 211 tied for ninth overall and just four strokes back from the tournament winner. Ohio State placed sixth of 14 schools in the team standings.

Two days back on campus and it’s back to life on the road for Ohio State Men’s Golf, headed to the Chicagoland area for the Windon Memorial (Sept. 27-28) less than a week after wrapping up play in the Inverness Intercollegiate. Ohio State will be one of 14 schools vying for Windon Memorial hardware starting on Sunday.
