Clark Engle, a sophomore for the Ohio State men's golf team, was been tabbed as the Big Ten Golfer of the Week on Wednesday (Oct. 29). Engle earns the conference accolade after winning the Intercollegiate at The Grove, both as the individual medalist and as a member of the team champion Buckeyes.

Sophomore Clark Engle cleared the entire field by two strokes on Day Two of The Intercollegiate at The Grove as the only player to go under par. His low round of 70 thrust him up into a tie for fourth place overall and helped raise the Buckeyes into a share of fourth place in the team standings.

Fifth-year senior Logan Jones accumulated six birdies en route to a 3-under 69 in the opening round of the Intercollegiate at The Grove, earning a piece of fourth place individually. As a team, the Buckeyes are slotted sixth and within four strokes of second-place Southern Mississippi with 18 of 54 holes complete.

Ohio State Men's Golf wraps up its Fall semester competition schedule Oct. 26-28 playing in The Intercollegiate at the Grove in College Grove, Tenn., hosted by Middle Tennessee State University. A dozen schools are expected to enter the event.
