2012 Fall (Sophomore Season): Competed in two tournaments for the Buckeyes as an individudal - Windon Memorial and Jack Nicklaus Invitational.
2011-12 (Freshman Season): As a redshirt freshman, he saw action in three fall tournaments ... compiled a stroke average of 74 over seven rounds ... in his first tournament action as a Buckeye at the Marshall Invitational (Sept.12-13), he opened with a round of 69 en route to a T-35 finish ... played in the rain-shortened Inverness Intercollegiate (Sept. 27) as well as the Jack Nicklaus Invitational played at Muirfield Village Golf Club in his hometown of Dublin, Ohio ... began the spring going 1-2 in his first taste of collegiate match play at the Big Ten Match Play Championship (Feb. 10-11) ... competed as an individual at both the FAU Spring Break Championship (Mar. 23-25) and the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate (Apr. 14-15), finishing 80th and T-9th respectively ... the finish at the Kepler was his best in his young career, firing rounds of 73-75-78 for a 226 total ... competed in his first Big Ten Championship,t finishing T-35th with a four round total of 310 ... totaled a 75.7 stroke average at the end of the season.

Prior to Ohio State: Attended Dublin Jerome High School ... was five-time medalist his senior season and had a scoring average of 74.1 ... tied for 11th place in the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Tournament in 2009 and led team to eighth-place finish ... team captain and voted Most Valuable Player during his senior year ... two-time All-Ohio Capital Conference honoree ... all-district golfer in 2009 ... member of the National Honor Society and valedictorian of his graduating class.
Personal: Son of Belinda and Danny Jones ... has two younger siblings, Trent and Hannah ... enjoys fishing and hunting ... hopes to pursue a career in professional golf or attend medical school to become a physician.
