2012 Fall (Freshman Season): Made his first appearance for the Buckeyes at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational, competing as an individual.

Prior to Ohio State: Finished second at the 2012 IHSAA regional tournament with a 72...was a two-time Hoosier Conference medalist (2010, 2012)... totaled two medalist and two runner-up finishes in 2012... took medalist honors at the 2011 ASGA Junior Qualifier... would go on to make the cut to 64 players... part of two IHSAA state finalist squads (2009, 2012)... notched medalist honors at five high school invitationals during 2011 season... earned his team's MVP award for all four seasons...tallied a total of 10 varsity letters at West Lafayette High School through his involvement in golf (four), football (three) and basketball (three)... was a 2011 Academic All-State selection in football... holds the West Lafayette High School record for most touchdown passes in a single game with five... was also a All-Conference first team and All-Area second team selection during his senior basketball campaign.

Personal: Son of Terry and Kelly Busch... has two older brothers, Nick and Scott... brother Scott played golf at Purdue... lists greatest sport thrill was his first dunk in a high school game off an alley-oop.
