Paul Keels begins his 15th year as “Voice of the Buckeyes.” Keels’ extensive play by play background has included stints with the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, the University of Cincinnati, the Detroit Pistons and national games for Westwood One. In addition to play-by-play, Keels moderates the coach’s call-in show and is a part of the Buckeye Roundtable show. Paul is a member of the Ohio broadcasters Hall of Fame and was named Ohio sportscaster of the year for the third time in 2012.
Jim Lachey returns for his 16th season as color analyst. Lachey was an outstanding offensive lineman for Ohio State from 1981-84. He was an All American and All Big Ten player his senior year, leading the Buckeyes to the conference championship and the Rose Bowl. A first round draft choice in 1985, Lachey played 11 seasons in the NFL and was an All-Pro a record nine times. One of “the hogs,” Lachey helped the Washington Redskins win the 1993 Super Bowl. Lachey also co-hosts the coach’s call-in show and is a part of the Buckeye Roundtable show.
Marty Bannister has been a member of the Ohio State IMG Sports Network since 2003 as the play-by-play voice of OSU women’s basketball. Bannister begins his seventh season as sideline and locker room reporter. Some of Bannister’s other work has included play by play for Wittenberg football and basketball, the Columbus Destroyers arena football league and ONN’s football and basketball state high school championships.
Skip Mosic begins his 28th season covering Buckeye football on the Ohio State IMG Sports Network. The long time WBNS morning host will once again serve as pregame & halftime host in addition to providing scoreboard updates throughout the game broadcast. Mosic also hosts Ohio State baseball’s Greg Beals coach’s show each spring and ONN Radio’s Tonight in High School Football and Ohio College Football Today each fall.
Craig Krenzel is a former OSU quarterback who went 26-3 as a starter including the 2002 undefeated National Championship team. Krenzel co-hosts numerous shows on the Columbus station, 97.1 The Fan and has been a part of The Buckeye Roundtable Show since 2009.
