Nearing 3.00, Team’s Spring Semester GPA Highest in 8 Years

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Members of the Ohio State football team combined for the highest spring term grade point average in eight years with a 2.92 overall average for the recently completed semester. This is the third consecutive semester, and fourth out of the past five, that the football team’s overall term grade point average had improved.

A total of 44 players had a spring semester grade point average of 3.00 or above with three players – Billy Price, Jordan Fuller and Liam McCullough – earning perfect, 4.00 GPAs.

This news comes shortly after the release of the Academic Progress Rate, where Ohio State football had a solid 975 score in the measurement of academic progress through eligibility and retention.
