|Barclay hits the overtime game winning field goal vs. Iowa in 2009|
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State's 2013 Homecoming game will be Oct. 19 vs. Iowa with ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 televising the game, the networks announced today. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
The game will represent the Hawkeyes' first visit to Ohio Stadium since the thrilling game of 2009 that went into overtime. Ohio State prevailed, 27-24, on a 39-yard field goal by Devin Barclay and in the process earned its first trip to the Rose Bowl since the 1996 season.
The game will also be the first in three years between Ohio State and Iowa. The two teams last played in 2010, on Nov. 20, at Kinnick Stadium.
Four of Ohio State's 2013 game times are now set. The Wisconsin, Northwestern and Penn State games have all previously been announced as 8 p.m. starts.
