COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 2013 ESPN College Football Spring Tour made a stop in Columbus, Ohio, Tuesday, the fifth of eight scheduled stops between April 10-20.
On site at 8 a.m., ESPN representatives unloaded equipment from the DirectTV ESPN bus and set up a studio in the players' lounge, located in the Les Wexner Football Complex at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Numerous Buckeyes stopped by either to visit with ESPN hosts Rece Davis and Chris Spielman, to be interviewed for the Tuesday edition of College Football Live, or to just take a look at the studios inside of the DirectTV bus. Among the contingent: CB Bradley Roby, LB Ryan Shazier, QB Braxton Miller, SAF C.J. Barnett and OT Jack Mewhort stopped by the studio while DT Joel Hale, WR Devin Smith, SAF Nagee Murray and first-semester-on-campus freshmen CB Eli Apple, DL Tracy Sprinkle and DL Tyquan Lewis all took a look inside the bus.
Coach Urban Meyer spent about 20 minutes on set. At one point he, Davis and Spielman had a lively phone conversation with ESPN play-by-play announcer Dave Pasch that had all smiling...big time. Check out their reaction to the call, and more photos of the day, at the photo album link attached.
