Ohio State played its first game in Lincoln Saturday.
The Buckeyes lead the all-time series with Nebraska (2-1) after winning both contests in 1955 and 1956 in Columbus.
OFFENSIVE NOTES
Ohio State went 2-of-2 in the red zone against Nebraska and is now 16 of 19 on the season. The only three times Ohio State has failed to score inside the red zone was on a fumble and on two end-of-game possessions to run out the clock against Akron and Colorado.
Corey "Philly" Brown hauled in a career-long 27-yard reception in the third quarter.
Braxton Miller rushed 10 times for 91 yards before leaving the game in the third quarter. He also had a career-long 24-yard run in the first quarter.
Jake Stoneburner hauled in a career-long 32-yard TD reception in the first quarter.
Carlos Hyde's 63-yard TD run in the second quarter was a career long and Ohio State's longest play from scrimmage this season. Hyde finished with a career high 104 yards on 13 carries and 2 TDs.
