Ohio State Overview: Kevin is in his third year with the football program ... he was invited to walk on to the team during the spring of 2012 ... he arrived as a left-footed kicking specialist but has since added about 15 pounds of muscle and has been moved to safety ... during the 2013 season he got into the Florida A&M game for his first collegiate playing time ... he has been a part of three spring drills as well as the undefeated 2012 campaign for the Buckeyes ... he is majoring in communications.

More on Kevin: Niehoff completed his coursework work at Mason High School, just outside of Cincinnati, in time for the start of the 2012 spring quarter at Ohio State ... he was a three-year starter for Mason's football team under coach Brian Castner ... caught 27 passes for 366 yards and five touchdowns as a senior ... named all-Greater Miami Conference ... also lettered in baseball and basketball for Mason ... is the son of Sarah and Rob Niehoff ... his father played collegiately for Cincinnati and later was a member of the Cincinnati Bengals ... has two younger brothers; Alex and Nick.
