Ohio State Overview: Kato Mitchell is in his fourth season with the football program, having initially walked on to the team in the fall of 2012 … a hard worker, Mitchell saw his first game action as a Buckeye in 2013 when he played offensive series’ against Florida A&M, Penn State and Purdue … he played a career-best 29 plays against Florida A&M and caught his first collegiate pass – for five yards – in that game … he also played 19 snaps vs. Penn State and 10 vs. Purdue … was a key member of the scout team during Ohio State’s run to the 2014 College Football Playoff national championship … Mitchell is an OSU Scholar-Athlete majoring in sport industry.
