Ohio State will suit up 14 college graduates for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

Ohio State Overview: Demetrius Knox is in his fourth season with the Buckeyes and maintains junior eligibility status for the 2017 campaign … he is a veteran of 17 games played and is coming off a spring drills where he 1) rebounded nicely from a broken foot that kept him out of nine games last year, and 2) was in the hunt and competing for the open starting position at guard … he is majoring in sport and industry.

2016 Season (Sophomore): A foot injury in late September slowed Knox for nine games after he had previously played in the first three games of the season … he did come back for the College Football Playoff game against Clemson and played 23 snaps when one starter was briefly injured … played in four games, total, for the season.

2015 Season (Freshman): Knox, a red-shirt in 2014, earned his first Varsity O letter in 2015 as he played in all 13 games for the 12-1 Buckeyes … most of his playing time was on special teams, but he did line up for offensive snaps in five games with a high of 15 plays against Rutgers.
