Amy Burgess is in her sixth year on the Buckeye football staff, serving as associate director of football operations, coordinating the summer youth camp, assisting with recruiting and serving as the team's compliance liaison. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Burgess is in her 10th year with the Ohio State athletics department.
Burgess earned a bachelor's degree in human and organization development from Vanderbilt University, where she was a two-time captain and most valuable player of the lacrosse team and was a first team Academic All-American. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Burgess spent four years at Fifth Third Bank as a retail banking center manager and public funds officer before entering graduate school.
Burgess earned a master's degree in sport and exercise management from Ohio State, serving as a graduate assistant in the compliance office before she joined the full-time staff in December, 2002, as assistant compliance director overseeing Buckeye sports camps.
Amy lives in Bexley with her husband Ryan and daughter Elizabeth.
