2014 Season: Honorable mention All-Big Ten performer in his first year as a starter ... was only senior starter along the offensive line at right tackle ... Started all 15 games for the national champion Buckeyes ... Helped anchor an offensive line that ranked first in the Big Ten in total offense (511.6 ypg) and scoring (44.8 ppg) and second in rushing (264.5).
2013 Season: Darryl backed up All-American Jack Mewhort at left tackle during the 2012 and 2013 seasons ... he played 140 snaps from scrimmage during the 2013 season, including 57 vs. Florida A&M and a combined 44 vs. Purdue and Penn State ... he lined up for an additional 96 snaps on special teams.
2012 Season: Darryl played in all 12 games for the undefeated Buckeyes in 2012 with most of his 101 plays occurring on special teams ... he did log 18 plays from scrimmage vs. Illinois and he played 14 offensive snaps vs. Miami.
2011 Season: The now-three-year Varsity O letterwinner earned his first varsity letter in 2011 after getting into seven games as a reserve defensive lineman ... he recorded three tackles, including a quarterback sack in his first game as a Buckeye (Akron) ... he red-shirted the 2010 season.
