Scoring 10 points Saturday against Marquette, guard Aaron Craft reached 1,005 as a Buckeye, becoming the first Ohio State player in history to record 500 assists, 200 steals and 1,000 career points.
Craft is second on the all-time assists list at OSU with 550. He needs 30 more to pass Jamar Butler (579) for first. He is already the career steals leader at OSU and sits seventh all-time in the Big Ten with 254 to date.
The senior is one of only three B1G players all-time to reach 500-or-more assists and 250 steals. Illinois’ Bruce Douglas, who is the conference’s all-time leader in steals (324), and Michigan’s Gary Grant are the other two.
