LOS ANGELES - Greg Oden helped coach one of four Special Olympic basketball teams Friday as part of the Wooden Award weekend festivities at the Los Angeles Athletic club in downtown LA.

Oden coached against fellow freshman Wooden finalist Kevin Durant of the University of Texas in the first of two semifinal games. Durant's team prevailed to advance to the title game vs. a team coached by Wisconsin's Alando Tucker. Tucker knocked off a team coached by Acie Law IV of Texas A&M.

The four honorary coaches helped their teams warm up for competition and sat on the team benches encouraging their respective teams. Upon conclusion of the competition, Oden signed autographs, posed for a team photo and spoke to local media covering the event.

The winner of the 2007 Wooden Award will be announced live on CBS at 2 p.m. ET Saturday.
