ATLANTA - The Ohio State men's basketball team (35-3) geared up Sunday for its appearance in the NCAA tournament championship at 9:21 p.m. Monday vs. Florida (34-5) in the Georgia Dome. The Buckeyes participated in media press conferences before taking the floor for a closed practice.

Ohio State head coach Thad Matta and its starting five of Jamar Butler, Mike Conley Jr., Ivan Harris, Ron Lewis and Greg Oden participated in a news conference for about a half an hour before breaking out into individual press sessions for another 30 minutes. Ohio State's reserves conducted interviews in the locker room.

After their media conference, Ohio State headed to the Georgia Dome floor for its final practice of the 2007-07 season. The Buckeyes worked out for 90 minutes in prep for its rematch with the Gators.

The Buckeyes last played in the NCAA tournament title game after making its third-consecutive championship game appearance in 1962, losing for the second year in a row to Cincinnati.
