The 2013-14 Ohio State roster has 53 games of combined NCAA tournament experience and 26 starts entering the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The team has a total of 342 points, 167 rebounds, 109 assists, 59 steals and 19 blocks. Senior Aaron Craft has played in 12 NCAA Tournament games. He, along with classmate Lenzelle Smith Jr., have earned three consecutive NCAA "Sweet 16" appearances (2011-12-13), a pair of "Elite Eight" showings (2011, 2013) and one Final Four (2012). Craft averages 8.7 points in NCAA tournament play. He has been credited with 70 assists and 34 steals. LaQuinton Ross has appeared in four games, averaging 15.0 ppg. and making 86  percent from the foul line (18-21). Shannon Scott has been in eight NCAA games, averaging 3.4 ppg. The 2014 NCAA Tournament
The  No. 6-seeded (South Regional) Buckeyes enter the 2014 NCAA Tournament with a 25-9 record. Thad Matta, in his 10th year as head coach at Ohio State, has taken the Buckeyes to eight NCAA tournaments during his time in Columbus, including a title game appearance in 2007. The Buckeyes have appeared in the last six NCAA tournaments.
The Buckeyes finished the Big Ten regular season with a 10-8 record, good for fifth overall. Ohio State was the No. 5 seed in the league tournament last week. The Buckeyes have won 20 Big Ten titles and are making their 26th appearance in the NCAA tournament.

Ohio State vs. 2014 NCAA Tournament Teams
The Buckeyes have played 13 games vs. eight 2014 NCAA Tournament teams during the course of the 2013-14 season. Ohio State is 8-5 vs. those teams this season. Ohio State owns wins vs. American, North Dakota State, Delaware, Wisconsin, Nebraska (2-1), Iowa (1-1) and Michigan State (1-1). The Buckeyes were 0-2 vs. Michigan.
