Buckeyes in the 2014 BTT
LaQuinton Ross is averaging 22.5 points and 14 rebounds in wins over Purdue and Nebraska. He tallied a career-high 26 points in the come-from-behind win over Nebraska Friday and grabbed a career high 15 rebounds vs. Purdue Thursday. In the two wins, Ross is shooting 17 of 39 from the field (.436) and 10 of 12 from the foul line (.833).  Aaron Craft is the only other Buckeye averaging in double figures (11.0 ppg). He has 11 assists and four steals in 37.5 minutes per game. Amir Williams is averaging 7.0 points and 7.0 rebounds. He leads the Buckeyes with 10 offensive boards in the two games.

The Michigan Series
Ohio State leads the all-time series with the Wolverines 93-74. Ohio State is 4-1 in neutral-site games vs. Michigan. The Buckeyes lost the only meeting with the Wolverines during the 2014 Big Ten regular season, a 70-60 setback Feb. 11 in Columbus. LaQuinton Ross scored 24 points while Lenzelle Smith Jr. added 14. Ross is Ohio State's top scorer in the series vs. the Wolverines with 10.0 ppg. in four career appearances. Smith Jr. averages 8.2 ppg and is Ohio State's top rebounder with 5.8 a contest. As a ranked team, Ohio State is 35-7 overall vs. Michigan. When the Wolverines are ranked, Ohio State is 15-25. The teams have met 12 times when both squads carried a Top 25 ranking in the game. Ohio State is 7-5 in those contests. Thad Matta is 17-5 all-time vs. the Wolverines. Michigan is 24-7 overall.

A Look at the Wolverines
Michigan, the No. 1 seed, advanced to the 2014 Big Ten Tournament Semifinals with a 64-63 win over Illinois Friday. Michigan is led by Nik Stauskas' 17.5 ppg. Caris LaVert (13.4 ppg.) and Glenn Robinson III (13.3 ppg.) also contribute double digits offensively.

Ohio State is the No. 5 seed in 2014 and has won 20 of its last 24 league tournament games, including 13 of the last 14. •    Craft dished six assists. He is Ohio State's all-time assists leader with 684 for his career and is ranked sixth on the all-time Big Ten list.  He needs seven assists to pass Bruce Parkinson of Purdue (690) for fifth all-time.
•    Craft moves into second place all-time in assists at the Big Ten Tournament with 52 assists over the course of 11 games. He also moved into second place in steals at the tournament with 19.
•    Amedeo Della Valle collected five rebounds, tying a career high.
•    Della Valle played strong defensively vs. Nebraska, posting a career-high two steals and another career-best three blocks.
•    Amir Williams recorded two blocks for the game. Williams has 133 rejections for his career. He passed Lawrence Funderburke (131) for seventh on the OSU career blocks chart. He needs four to overtake Granville Waiters (136) for sixth all-time.
•    Williams played in his 99th game for the Scarlet and Gray.  

Buckeyes in the Big Ten Tournament
Aaron Craft: In 11 career league tournament games, Craft has averaged 10.6 points with a total of 52 assists, 19 steals and seven blocks ... shooting 51 percent overall (47-92) while averaging 35 minutes a game. Lenzelle Smith Jr.: Has played in eight BTT games, all starts ... averages 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds ... owns 12 assists, 10 steals and three blocks ... shooting 71 percent from the foul line (10-14) in 25.9 minutes a game. Sam Thompson: Has five starts and eight appearances in BTT play ... averages 6.4 points on 21 of 41 shooting (.512). Amir Williams: Averages 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 points over eight BTT appearances and five starts. Shannon Scott: In eight career BTT games, Scott averages 16.4 minutes per game, has 20 assists and nine steals in conference tournament play while shooting 9 of 18 (.500). LaQuinton Ross: In seven BTT games, Ross has averaged 10.6 points on 28 of 59 shooting (.475) ... makes 47 percent of his 3-pointers (7-15) ... made first career postseason start in the 2014 BTT vs. Purdue.

LaQuinton Ross scored 24 points and Lenzelle Smith Jr. had 13 for Ohio State, which had a three-game winning streak snapped with a 70-60 loss to No. 15 Michigan. Nik Stauskas scored 15 points and freshmen Derrick Walton III and Zak Irvin each had a big game as Michigan overcame an eight-point deficit early in the second half. The Buckeyes led by as many as 10 points in the first half, then scored only four points over the final 6:23 to take a 30-26 lead into the break. After Michigan pulled within a point, the Buckeyes built a quick eight-point lead but couldn't hang on as the Wolverines went on a 12-0 run to take control.  Walton scored 13 points, added a career-high 10 rebounds and was just one behind his previous best in assists with six. Irvin came off the bench to score 10 points, hitting both of his 3-pointers and adding a solid defensive effort. The victory ended a nine-game skid over the last 11 years in Columbus for the Wolverines. Ohio State got as close as 51-50 on two free throws by Ross with 6:21 left before Morgan scored inside. Then, on the next trip down the floor, he kept the ball alive on an offensive rebound, leading to a 3 by Stauskas. Shannon Scott's steal led to a dunk by Buckeyes teammate Sam Thompson, and Michigan was hanging on, 56-52, with 3:24 left. But Columbus native Caris LeVert drove the lane and flicked a pass to the right corner to Glenn Robinson III, who hit a 3 with 2:45 left to push the lead to 59-52.The Buckeyes didn't threaten again.
