• The Buckeyes fall to 3-5 all-time vs. Kansas and 18-21 all-time vs. members of the Big 12 Conference (last meeting vs. KU, 12/16/99 in Lawrence; No. 8 KU 80, No. 12 OSU 67).
•  As a ranked team, Ohio State is 403-109 overall and when ranked in the AP Top 10, the Buckeyes are 282-60.
• When ranked in the Top 3 of the Associated Press, Ohio State is 139-21.
• As the AP No. 2 ranked team in the nation, Ohio State falls to 36-9 overall.
• Ohio State is now 34-30 when both teams are ranked in the Top 15. When both teams are ranked in the Top 25, the Buckeyes are 61-51.

 William Buford

• The start was Buford’s 107th donning the Scarlet and Gray.
• Buford scored a team-high 21 points for the Buckeyes, improving his career total to 1,573. He is 11th place in Ohio State career scoring after passing Terrence Dials (1,566) and Allan Hornyak (1,572). He is 24 behind Robin Freeman for 10th place in Ohio State career scoring.
• Buford had five rebounds to push his career total to 512. He is one of 16 former Buckeyes in the prestigious 1,500 point and 500 rebound club.
• Buford had three assists. He now has 287 for his career.

 Aaron Craft

• With 11 points, Craft now has 345 for his career. It’s the fifth time this season and 14th time in his career he has scored in double figures.
• Craft had two steals. He has 97 for his career.
• Craft had six assists to push his career total to 227. He has had at least three in every game this season. He has 33 in his last five games.

 Deshaun Thomas

• Thomas had a season-high 19 points. It is the 19th time in his career he has scored in double figures.
• It is also the eighth-consecutive game Thomas has scored in double figures. Besides the season opener, Thomas has scored double figures in every game this season.

 Evan Ravenel

• Ravenel made his second consecutive start with Jared Sullinger out with back spasms. Ravenel finished nine points and five rebounds.
