Value City Arena - Columbus, Ohio

Thad Matta, Ohio State head coach
On seniors Aaron Craft and Lenzelle Smith Jr. reaching 100 wins at OSU
"I wanted to bring these two guys in today - Lenzelle Smith Jr. and Aaron Craft. I don't know if I've ever been prouder. Today they won their 100th game at Ohio State. They are the second-fastest in college basketball to get there; Kansas got there in 116, they got there in 119. I think it speaks volumes about them and their commitment to this program. Today, as I told the guys in shoot around, was about them getting their 100th win. If you stop and think about how quick they got there, 119 games and 100 wins, it's just amazing. Never been prouder of two guys."

On the play of LaQuinton Ross
"I think LaQuinton got into a little bit of a groove. He and I talked the other day and I just said, `hey, we can't make shots for you. We can't think out there for you when you're on the court. We're going to put you into situations where you can be successful.' I think he was humbled by how he shot the ball the last few games. To his credit, it was great to see the ball go in for him."

Lenzelle Smith Jr., senior guard
On Ohio State's offense
"I think when guys see other guys make shots it boosts everyone's confidence. It makes you think, `why can't I be the guy to make the next shot.' That thinking catches on fire and guys start swinging the ball, getting wide-open shots. Everybody has a little Coach Matta in them saying you better not miss this shot."

On locking in on defense
"I just felt with the type of defense Aaron [Craft] plays, if my man caught the ball I could try and speed him up. I felt like they were going to turn the ball over if everyone locked into their man. Craft is going to do it every game. I just wanted to pick up the pace and feed off of him. Today I was definitely trying to get more steals."

Aaron Craft, senior guard
On the improved play of LaQuinton Ross
"LaQuinton is a competitor. He's the first person to tell himself he hasn't been playing great. We didn't have to really get on him. He took it upon himself to come into practice and do what he needed to do to find his role. And he did that."

On the game today
"We had a great meal at Coach Matta's yesterday. We just really wanted to come out and make the most of this opportunity, find a way to put 40 minutes together. We wanted to get off to a fast start. We thought they were going to try to run up and down, like they showed on tape, but we wanted to do the same thing."

Matthew Driscoll, North Florida head coach
On the game
"With Thanksgiving yesterday we the opportunity to go over to Coach's [Matta's] house - I'd like to drug test the turkeys and see what he put in them. This is the best they've shot all year long. Unfortunately, we helped them get to that point."

On the play of LaQuinton Ross
"I recruited him while at Baylor and we have a relationship. I know he's been struggling, but when I saw him make that first 3-pointer in the corner I thought, `Oh lord, here we go.'"
